Job Summary
EEC Certified Preschool Teacher responsibilities include leading, coaching, and mentoring teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom; modeling growth-minded teaching; implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers; creating a safe learning environment; communicating with parents about children's progress via apps and discussions; supporting center goals around enrollment and engagement; building relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic play-and-learn environment. Qualifications emphasize required experience, an associate degree or higher in ECE or related field, and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices. Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
