Job Summary
Design, process and technology engineer responsible for mechanical, electrical, and testing of product design for a new division; apply knowledge to assembling prototypes, fixture creation for assembly and test of prototypes, and bring up and successful release to manufacturing. Work with a matrixed, cross functional team to drive creative, robust, and effective solutions that meet customer requirements; support prototyping, product build, test, and documentation; develop technically robust solutions, manage design parameters and tradeoffs, identify equipment/material needs, develop best practices, monitor KPIs, and stay current with technical developments in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Functional knowledge, education background or 2 years working experience required.
- Good communication skills and excellent relational skills.
- Demonstrates operations and technical skills and comprehension of Flex policies and procedures.
- Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
