Evaluate students with orthopedic, neuro-physiological, and developmental deficits to formulate individualized treatment programs using physical agents, exercise, and therapeutic techniques. Communicate procedures to parents, teachers, and staff while attending meetings to coordinate student care. Supervise PT Assistants, students, and observational volunteers, including training employees and reviewing re-evaluations and progress notes. Measure appliance specifications and consult with technicians, ensuring all documentation is completed thoroughly and timely. Maintain accurate prescriptions for each student and provide support to departmental staff. May visit student homes upon permission and participate in committees as assigned.
