Educator - Virginia

Educator needed for YMCA Virginia Outside School Hours Care on a casual basis. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging primary-aged children before and after school, and during Vacation Care; facilitating a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities; creating a welcoming, inclusive environment that supports children’s wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play. Candidates should hold or be studying toward a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care, or similar, with current First Aid/CPR and a valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain). The role is part-time (casual) with shifts between 6:00am–9:00am and 2:00pm–6:00pm, within a not-for-profit YMCA OSHC program across South East Queensland.
