Job Summary
Conduct daily room coverage and support educators with programming, routines, and lunch duties across all rooms in a flexible float position. Create safe, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences while fostering children's wellbeing through daily interactions. Build respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues within a team environment. Work any three flexible days per week in a permanent part-time role at SDN Paddington's renovated centre, which serves 89 children from birth to school age.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or Diploma in early childhood education and care
- Working towards Certificate III
- Relevant experience in early childhood education
- Strong willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work any three days per week
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Understanding of National Quality Standards
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid qualification
- Approved Child Protection training
