Job Summary
Develop and maintain nurturing relationships with children while promoting positive behaviour and guiding decision-making processes. Create a stimulating environment that fosters physical, social, and emotional development, ensuring trust and security through flexible routines. Provide physical care during toileting, dressing, and mealtimes, and assist in observing and evaluating children's development. Collaborate on nutritional practices and manage groups of children while implementing National Quality Standards and EYLF. Ensure regular exchange of centre-based information and uphold child dignity and rights.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
- Foundation of Child Safety Training Certificate
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Understanding of Child Protection legislation and holds an approved and current Child Protection Training qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable)
