Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Educator executes learning needs assessments, develops and delivers nursing education programs and curricula, provides orientation and continuing education for staff or patients, and serves as a clinical education resource. Responsibilities include evaluating learning needs using CQI results, developing competencies and educational materials, facilitating in-service programs, and supporting cost-effective resource utilization. Requires NYS RN license, a bachelor’s degree in nursing/health education/instructional development, and at least 1 year of training or teaching experience; preferred 3+ years in related educational field. The role supports quality care and professional development within Rochester Regional Health.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently registered and licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse
- Bachelor’s degree required in nursing, health education, or instructional development or an equivalent combination of education and healthcare related work experience will be considered
- Minimum of 1 year prior training/teaching experience
