Job Summary
Lead role-specific onboarding programs for new Organ Procurement and Recovery Coordinators, ensuring alignment with instructional plans and learning objectives. Conduct follow-up sessions to provide feedback, assess performance through observation and knowledge checks, and document outcomes in the LMS. Create an inclusive learning environment that supports adult learning principles and diverse styles, while designing and developing program content with the Instructional Design Department. Facilitate training by relating content to real-life experiences and provide job aids to support real-time field performance. Ensure education equips team members to optimize organ viability and understand allocation processes to drive measurable improvements in donation outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Bachelor's in nursing
- CEPTC
- 2 years' Organ Procurement Coordinator Experience
- 1 year as a Preceptor
- Knowledge of impact of job performance on safety of donated organs and tissue on recipient outcomes
- Desire and willingness to provide feedback to team members as needed
- Ability to influence others without direct authority
- Ability to adapt training to diverse audiences and learning styles
- Proven ability to collaborate and build/maintain relationships
- Attempts to solve problems and identify issues that need to be escalated
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and organizational values
