Educator - Las Vegas, NM

Facilitate classroom-based cooking and nutrition education lessons using the Cooking with Kids curriculum, lead monthly cafeteria tastings, and support family engagement and garden-to-kitchen activities at assigned school sites. Schedule programming in coordination with teachers and administrators, manage school calendars, and transport program supplies from central food hubs. Rigorously follow food safety and sanitation procedures while maintaining active Food Handlers certification and completing required reporting. Work independently with school staff during typical 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. school days, with total hours varying by assignment. This role supports the mission to educate children and families on healthy food choices through hands-on learning in Northern New Mexico.
