Job Summary
Tutor program participants in science, math, and computer literacy while introducing new academic concepts. Act as a role model by circulating between multiple students across varying grade levels and providing general oversight for effective classroom management in the Kroc Homework Zone. Deliver high-quality instruction consistently and demonstrate innovative approaches to teaching. This part-time role (up to 29 hours weekly, 3:30 PM–7:30 PM) supports the Sunoco Foundation Learning Center After School Program initiatives at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Philadelphia. The position requires a strong aptitude for STEM subjects, minimum two years of experience working with children, and a belief that all students should be held to high achievement standards.
