Educator 1 - Life Skills Educator

In-home and community-based life skills instruction for individuals with developmental disabilities. Train children and adults to accomplish daily living tasks (toilet training, hygiene, grooming, travel training, social skills) in home and community settings, following Individual Service Plans. Conduct visits to various community sites (schools, stores, banks, DMV, etc.), locate resources, complete hours, maintain records, and submit reports. Must have experience with developmental disabilities, CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days), and be able to communicate with consumers and supervisors; minimum one year experience preferred. Requires reliable transportation and successful background check (Live Scan). Flexible availability including weekdays and weekends; part-time to full-time roles available. Employment contingent on eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to collaborate with consumers and co-workers.
