Educational Technology Solutions Specialist: Academic Operations

Educational Technology Solutions Specialist: Operations responsible for investigating, supporting, testing, and optimising technology across the Educational Technology digital ecosystem with a focus on business-as-usual operations, system reliability, incident response, and continuous operational improvement. Key duties include investigation and escalation of complex issues across SIS, VLE, and assessment platforms; supporting academic operations during assessment periods; conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventative actions; evaluating and designing configuration changes, workflows, and integrations; planning and executing UAT, test scenarios, and validation; contributing to project governance, release readiness, and documentation; and developing knowledge materials for stakeholders. Requires a bachelor’s degree in education, educational technology, IT, computer science, or related field, with at least 3 years in educational technology or technology-enabled learning environments; experience with VLE/LMS platforms (Canvas advantageous); strong problem-solving, communication, training, and governance capabilities.
