Job Summary
Educational Technician III 1:1 for K-8 at Bangor Regional Therapeutic Day Program. 7.5 hours per day (7:30-3:30). Requires Ed Tech III authorization and Bachelor’s degree or 90 credit hours. Responsibilities include implementing Individual Education Plans and behavior plans, employing behavior-management strategies, supervising and interacting with students and staff, and collaborating as part of a team. Experience with emotional disabilities preferred; willingness to assist with toileting; knowledge of ABA discrete trial instruction; Safety Care Strategies encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 90 credit hours
- Ed Tech III authorization required
- Knowledge of behavior-management strategies
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students and staff
- Ability to implement Individual Education Plans and behavior plans
- Ability to work and learn as part of a team
- Ability to use ABA discrete trial instruction
