Job Summary
Lead operations of the NOAA Outreach Center, maintaining over 100 collections of major education and outreach products while designing and developing 3 to 5 new products annually to fill gaps and respond to audience needs. Disseminate these resources to educators, students, and the public while responding to general public inquiries about NOAA and providing expert guidance to staff engaged in public outreach activities. Plan, coordinate, and support participation in education conferences, meetings, workshops, and civic events by collaborating with internal and external partners. Assist with developing educational exhibits for NOAA booths and ensure consistency of approach across the organization by sharing best practices and lessons learned. This contingent position requires a Bachelor's degree in education or communications and 4 to 6 years of experience, with full benefits available for employees working 30+ hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, communications, or related fields
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of work experience
