Job Summary
Conceptualize, design, script, and storyboard educational media content while overseeing project development from initial ideas through final delivery. Create original visuals, audio/video, animations, and tutorials to meet pedagogical objectives, collaborating with learning experience designers and subject matter experts to enhance student engagement. Manage media projects by developing schedules, identifying technical resources, and ensuring deliverables meet quality indicators and institutional style guidelines. Act as an internal contact with vendors to ensure appropriate delivery requirements are included in contracts and provide documentation to support asset management. Adapt to rapidly changing timelines while working in a fast-paced production environment with minimal oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three (3) years media industry experience
- experience in educational media design and creation
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendors
Desired Qualifications
- experience in educational media design and creation is preferred
- Experience managing project budgets
- Specific and detailed experience with one or more of the following: video-based media creation, digital product design and creation, application of multimedia technologies, audiovisual editing, and/or digital media programming
