Job Summary
Educational Audiologist to manage and troubleshoot school-owned hearing assistive technology (HAT) including remote microphone, Phonak Roger, and FM systems; conduct classroom sound and functional listening evaluations; translate audiological findings into IEP/504 goals and accommodations; provide coaching to teachers, staff, and parents on equipment troubleshooting; support K-12 students in a hybrid on-site role in Cambridge, MN. Responsibilities include fitting, programming, and troubleshooting HAT, recommending acoustic modifications, and collaborating to support classroom listening and self-advocacy in students.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Ph.D. in Audiology
- Master's Degree in Audiology accepted if earned prior to August 30, 2007
- Active Minnesota Department of Health Audiologist License, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the ASLP-IC Interstate Licensure Compact
- Experience fitting, programming, and troubleshooting hearing assistive technology and FM/remote microphone systems
- Active CCC-A from ASHA or board certification through ABA
- Prior school-based/educational/pediatric audiology experience (Preferred)
