Job Summary
Educational Assistant II to support a classroom of students with special needs, assisting in direct instruction, developing strategies for IEPs, monitoring classroom management (including handling of physical restraint as needed), preparing materials, implementing behavioral intervention plans, and assisting with nursing protocols (G-Tube feeding, tracheotomy care, catheterization) under supervision of licensed staff; candidates must meet Highly Qualified Para-Professional status and complete required background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with students with special needs including Autism, ADHD, and emotional support needs
- Highly Qualified Para-Professional status required
- Background check and fingerprint screening
