Educational Assistant

Support teachers by carrying out activities that foster the emotional, intellectual, and social development of children while monitoring students during instruction. Reinforce lessons taught by the teacher and conduct small group tutoring as directed. Report observations of problems with children to the teacher and assist in maintaining a neat and clean classroom. Attend required training programs and perform other duties assigned by the principal and teacher. This 10-month role reports to the Principal and requires an Associates degree or higher, or passing the ParaPro Assessment.
