Job Summary
Educational Assistant for grades K-2 to support students and teachers by assisting with instruction, classroom activities, and creating a positive learning environment for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs; assisting with classroom instruction; working with individuals and small groups; supervising students; collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff; maintaining a safe, positive learning environment; ensuring confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with others
- Successful BCI and FBI background checks
- Ability to meet all state and district requirements for Educational Aides
