Job Summary
Assist students with identified special needs in completing academic assignments and self-help tasks across all curricular areas to meet IEP goals. Reinforce classroom material through small group instruction and accompany students on field trips and community experiences. Serve as a resource person for evaluation teams when requested and support students with physical and personal daily tasks. Maintain a positive, supportive relationship with students, staff, and parents while demonstrating regular attendance. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Reports to the building principal. One-year probationary contract starting August 10, 2026, with a salary of $17.97/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Certificate (may be obtained after employment)
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting
