Job Summary
Educational Therapist develops individualized educational goals and treatment plans for patients with brain injuries, conducts tests and assessments, and teaches patients using appropriate academic methods in clinic with occasional community or residential site work. Responsibilities include administering tests, evaluating progress, preparing summaries, and communicating findings to staff, insurance carriers, and families. Must have proficiency in academic subjects and be able to teach patients, with a full-time weekday schedule and occasional overtime; position emphasizes rehabilitation-oriented education in a clinical setting with opportunities to work in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Teaching Credential, preferably in Special Education is preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation or with individuals with brain injuries or developmental disabilities is preferred.
