Job Summary
Education Territory Manager – Northwest role focusing on executing sales strategies and driving revenue in the education market for Gumdrop and Brenthaven, leading a small inside sales team. Responsibilities include territory planning, outbound prospecting, district engagement (discovery calls, needs assessments, demos, pricing, proposals), channel partner management, deal execution and forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Operations. Requires strategic territory development, strong CRM usage (Salesforce or similar), experience in education technology sales, ability to travel up to 60%, and leadership to manage and mentor a remote inside sales team.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience leading a remote inside sales team
- 5+ years experience selling into the education market (K12 hardware technology resellers and distributors)
- strong communication and presentation skills to executive leaders
- ability to travel up to 60% to engage with customers, partners, and team members in person
- experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- ability to build and manage territory strategy, pipeline, and forecast
- ability to conduct district-facing sales activities (discovery, needs assessments, demos, pricing, proposals)
- collaboration with channel partners and internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations)
- territory mapping, pipeline reviews, and performance management discussions
- data literacy and analytical skills for reporting and decision-making
- proactive execution of company priorities and ownership mindset
- customer relationship building across districts, resellers, and education groups
