Job Summary

Research, evaluate, and pilot emerging educational technology tools to enhance pedagogy and learner engagement. Collaborate with faculty, instructional designers, and academic leadership to integrate technology solutions that align with curricular goals and develop reusable templates for scalable course design. Monitor tool usage, build business justifications for new investments, and maintain the strategic roadmap for learning experience improvements. Ensure all tools integrate effectively into the broader institutional ecosystem while meeting standards for data security, accessibility, and compliance. This role supports Boston University Virtual's mission to create high-quality online degree programs by fostering a culture of experimentation and prototyping across the university's digital architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting academic technology, either in educational technology, instructional design, or digital learning environments in higher education
  • Proven ability to evaluate and implement emerging tools in online and hybrid learning contexts
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems, learning management systems, and related academic technology ecosystems
