Job Summary
Provide instructional, behavioral, and daily living support to students requiring Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions within a structured, therapeutic learning environment. Assist with small group and individualized instruction, promote active engagement, and ensure student safety through supervision and implementation of approved interventions. Implement individualized behavior support strategies, utilize de-escalation techniques, and maintain accurate records of academic and behavioral data. Provide coverage across classrooms based on daily staffing needs and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Work full-time Monday through Friday, 7:30/8am to 3:30/4pm, aligned with the school calendar.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Eligible for Wisconsin DPI Instructional Aide License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to work with students in a variety of settings, including community outings
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with students with disabilities or behavioral challenges
