Job Summary
Education Support Professional position (0.875 FTE) for the 2026-2027 school year supporting a 3rd Grade classroom. Core duties include escorting students, providing 1:1 and small-group instructional support in special education settings, assisting with instructional materials, supervising during recess and meals, aiding with transportation routines, and providing personal care for students with daily living needs as directed. Requires two years of post-high school education or higher (or equivalent test) and experience with behavior management; starting pay $18.42/hour, 35 hours/week, 9 months, benefits when eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of post high school education or higher, or be able to pass a standardized test approved by the state of South Dakota, for designated Education Assistant positions.
