Job Summary
Coordinate with FCC Education Director, Family Advocates, and Monitors to support providers in implementing evidence-based, play-based curricula for mixed-age birth-4 settings. Adapt guidance for curriculum adoption, assist with child observation data entry for lesson planning, and document coaching sessions aligned with the Office of Head Start Early Childhood Framework for Quality. Maintain relationships with community partners offering mental health and special needs services, create the Community Partner Resource Guide, and participate in twice-monthly network staff meetings and professional learning sessions. Assist with enrollment and administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Infant/Toddler studies (preferred)
- Experience teaching children under six (required)
- Time management skills are essential
- Ability to multitask
- Must be a team player
- Appreciation for the unique needs of all providers and families
- Willingness to travel within FCC Network catchment areas (Bronx & Brooklyn)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Infant/Toddler studies (preferred)
- Experience working in Family Child Care and/or with infants and toddlers (preferred)
