Job Summary
Develop, maintain IEPs, quarterly reports, and progress monitoring data for all student goals while conducting mandated IEP meetings. Make data-driven instructional decisions to improve outcomes by adapting lessons for individual special needs and assessing social and academic requirements. Direct instructional assistants and volunteers to support individualized course studies, manage student behavior, and prepare teaching materials and incident reports. Serve as a liaison to Special Education Local Plan Areas and collaborate with community agencies to modify programs. Advise parents on student progress and reinforce classroom goals at home. Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and in-service training to meet credential requirements.
Required Qualifications

- California special education teaching credential
- valid intern credential
- Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential with English Learner Authorization
- CLAD/BCLAD Emphasis
- District Intern Credential with English Learner Authorization/BCLAD Emphasis
- Bilingual Cross-cultural Specialist Credential
- CLAD/BCLAD Certificate
- Three or more years of experience serving students with special needs
- Teaching Credential for the appropriate level of instruction and/or specialty area of special education
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
