Job Summary

Lead and manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state laws. Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers to develop measurable goals and support plans in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas. Deliver specialized academic instruction and intervention through models such as co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, small-group, and one-to-one support. Collect and analyze data regularly to track student progress toward IEP goals, inform instruction, and communicate growth to families. Design and co-design engaging, differentiated lessons that integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to build an inclusive classroom. Partner with general education teachers to modify materials and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate student records and engage fully in ongoing professional development to refine equity-centered practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject of your desired role
  • Be eligible for a General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit
  • CPR certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities and/or students from backgrounds similar to our KIPP Northern California community
