Job Summary
Education Specialist for Mild/Moderate needs to provide individualized instruction and support to students with identified special needs, develop and monitor IEPs, analyze assessment results to inform instruction, and collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies. Responsibilities include co-teaching and direct instruction inside and outside the general education environment, coordinating services to deliver a cohesive program, and maintaining knowledge of current Special Education laws/regulations to ensure compliant service delivery. Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid internship, Level I or Level II Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate) credential issued by the state of California.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
