Job Summary
Coordinate and manage IEPs for students while providing instructional support in small group or 1:1 settings. Adapt general education curriculum to meet student needs and collaborate with teachers and school teams. Travel to one or a few assigned school sites, with assignments matched to your availability to minimize travel. Enjoy a school-year schedule with summers and breaks off, plus paid mileage and drive time for travel between locations.
Required Qualifications
- CA Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Mod - R3MM, R3MN, R3BM, R3BE or Mod/Severe - R3MS)
- Autism Authorization (AAAS or R3MS)
- EL Authorization
- 1 year of experience teaching students with special needs both in and outside of the general education setting
- 1 year of experience coordinating and writing IEPs
