Education Senior Analyst

Job Summary

Take ownership of assigned projects and workstreams from concept through implementation, coordinating people, timelines, deliverables, and client needs for national training and technical assistance initiatives. Proactively identify challenges, opportunities, and potential solutions to bring recommendations to project leaders and clients. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality services for stakeholders in English learner, bilingual/dual-language education, and literacy education. Develop high-quality TA resources, including toolkits, reports, briefs, guides, online learning, and presentations. Analyze research, policy, and data to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations for education audiences. Support discretionary grantees in monitoring and implementing educational projects through helpdesks and customized knowledge management systems. Apply strong project management skills to ensure work is completed with high quality, on time, and within budget. Contribute to business development, proposal development, and conference presentations to strengthen the education practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, public policy, or a related field
  • Three or more years of relevant experience in education, consulting, research, technical assistance, professional learning, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of K–12 education systems in the United States
  • Experience working with English learners, multilingual learners, language instruction educational programs, literacy, bilingual/dual-language education, or educator professional development
  • Experience supporting Federal or State education agencies and/or discretionary grantees
  • Experience designing or delivering TTA, professional learning, or capacity-building services
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information for different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and proactively identify and address problems
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in education, public policy, social sciences, or a related field
  • Experience working with federally funded programs or Federal education requirements
  • Experience developing proposals, supporting capture/business development, or cultivating client relationships
  • Experience leading projects, workstreams, teams, or client engagements
