Job Summary
Education Resource Coordinator role coordinating clinical orientation activities, staff development, and related projects; acts as liaison between clinical staff and management; develops educational activities and programs for clinical staff; participates in development of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols; supports quality improvement education and clinical staff education including skills re-validation, audits, and chart reviews; monitors new clinical staff skills and participates in employee health requirements (N95 testing/immunizations); coordinates patient education materials; performs monthly Ativan count checks with RN for double signature.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (minimum)
- Certification as medical assistant required, or possession of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current BCLS certification
- Prefer graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum two years in an ambulatory care setting desired
