Education Program Manager – Elementary & Middle School Success

Job Summary
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of elementary and middle school programming for grades 1–8, designing age-appropriate curriculum that integrates academic enrichment, leadership development, and social-emotional learning. Serve as the primary point of contact for students, families, and school partners while coordinating tutoring, academic interventions, and family workshops. Supervise teachers and instructional staff through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to ensure consistent, high-quality instructional practices. Monitor student progress and program outcomes to analyze trends, maintain accurate records, and support grant reporting. Collaborate with internal teams and the Director of Education to create seamless educational pathways and strengthen engagement across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, or related field
- 5+ years of experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Experience designing curriculum and educational programming
- Experience supporting or supervising teachers, tutors, or instructional staff
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and youth development
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Classroom teaching experience
- Experience working within nonprofit or after-school education programs
- Familiarity with NYC educational systems and community-based programming
