Education Nurse Specialist - Professional Development

Assess and analyze education needs of nursing and patient care staff to recommend priority programming. Design instructional systems and consult with nursing services to meet competency and learning needs. Manage educational programs and courses while fostering quality methods and outcomes. Teach formal and informal classes and facilitate others to teach competently. Develop evaluation systems to determine educational effectiveness and analyze results for decision making. Provide information linkage regarding resources, techniques, and theory application to staff and faculty. Promote patient-focused outcomes through collaboration, cross-training, and educational consultancy. Requires MS/MSN in nursing education, RN licensure in Ohio, and minimum six years of RN experience.
