Job Summary
Lead an expert team of Educators to deliver outstanding education, brilliant customer service, and a thriving team culture under the N Curriculum and Pedagogy. Take full ownership of SEND provision, including identification, assessment, and personalised support planning, while championing safeguarding and wellbeing as the Designated Safeguarding Lead when needed. Observe teaching practice regularly to coach in the moment and role model outstanding delivery, providing structured feedback and mentoring to ensure continuous professional growth. Support daily operational planning, including routines, learning environments, ratios, and rotas to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality educational delivery throughout the day. Act as Manager in Charge during Nursery Manager absences, assuming full responsibility for operational delivery and maintaining stability, safety, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a nursery leadership position (ideally as a Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, or Nursery Manager)
- Proven experience leading education within an EYFS setting, delivering Strong or Exceptional Standard
- Strong track record in raising teaching quality and coaching teams through improvement
- Ability to inspire, challenge and support teams through growth and change
- A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly
- Able to communicate with parents, external professionals, colleagues, and children effectively
