Job Summary
EHCP Coordinator role within the SEND Team focusing on coproducing Education, Health and Care plans for children and young people aged 0-25. Responsibilities include interpreting assessments, writing plans in a restorative, co-produced manner, championing the child/young person, and coordinating with families, schools, and health and social care colleagues. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, strong relationship-building, experience with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice, capability with case management systems and digital tools, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while meeting statutory timescales. Two positions are available: a 22.2-hour fixed-term contract and a full-time permanent role. The post involves Enhanced DBS and Barred List checks; visa sponsorship is not available. Must have GCSE O Level standard or equivalent in English and demonstrated professional development and experience working with young people with SEND.
