Job Summary
Lead the implementation of The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum through regular classroom observations, coaching, and mentorship of teaching staff. Monitor child assessments, ensure compliance with New York City and State regulations, and maintain accurate educational documentation. Build strong family partnerships while collaborating with the Center Director to support enrollment growth and retention. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, New York State Teacher Certification, and minimum three years of leadership experience. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with a competitive salary of $80,000–$100,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all New York City Education Director qualification requirements under applicable DOHMH and/or OCFS licensing regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an early childhood education setting
- Thorough knowledge of New York City and New York State childcare licensing regulations
Desired Qualifications
- New York State Teacher Certification (Birth–Grade 2 or equivalent)
