Job Summary
Conduct classroom observations to assess developmentally appropriate practices, safety, and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. Maintain accurate documentation of monitoring activities, reports, and transition program transfers. Provide guidance and support to teachers by reviewing planning forms, supervising classroom preparation, and coaching staff on assessment and culturally appropriate curricula. Coordinate developmental screenings, organize schedules, and manage inventory of educational materials. Collaborate with Education Supervisors and Family Health Services to design training, facilitate meetings, and manage family transitions to public school. Administer program integration, participate in Case Management Team meetings, and conduct referrals for Individualized Family Service Plans. Lead daily operations, supervise staff, and perform mandatory first responder duties including CPR and fire drills.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or higher in early childhood education
- BA/BS degree or higher in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
