Job Summary
Direct and provide orientation for new employees, working with clinical staff to ensure effective onboarding for Nurses and CNAs. Coordinate, conduct, and validate completion of competency checklists for all nursing staff upon hire, annually, and as needed. Conduct patient care rounds daily to assess educational and clinical needs of the nursing staff and assist in developing the non-eLearning annual education plan. Requires a current RN license in good standing with three years' experience in long-term care. Full-time role with generous benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Three years' experience in long-term care
- experience as a Nursing Leader
- Exceptional clinical skills including IV Therapy
- Solid understanding of federal and state regulations for long-term care
