Job Summary
Education Center Operator oversees day-to-day Head Start center operations, ensuring alignment with Head Start Program Performance Standards and agency policies. Responsibilities include supervising center staff, implementing the Head Start curriculum and trauma-informed practices, fostering Parent/Family/Community Engagement, managing budgets and data/tracking systems, coordinating with senior management for policy alignment, facilitating community outreach, and ensuring high-quality learning environments. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, 2 years of field experience, CPR/First Aid, and bilingual English/Spanish desirable, with a 12-month contract in San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood development or related human service field
- Two years experience in Head Start or related field
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Fluency in English and Spanish (desirable)
