Job Summary
Deliver Power of Possible (POP) and Life Skills workshops, conducting Single Stop® benefits screenings and leading English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) sessions. Set clear expectations, maintain a structured classroom environment, and use experiential learning strategies to move participants from foundational understanding to real-world application. Assess engagement and readiness, provide direct feedback, and facilitate progression into Work Experience, Community Service, or Short-Term Occupational Training. Track 100% of attendance, enter data into FedcapCARES within one business day, and collaborate with Career Advisors during weekly meetings. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, PTO, and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, human services, workforce development, or related field preferred
- Two years' experience in adult education, workshop facilitation, or workforce development coaching
- Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment is strongly preferred
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be considered
