Job Summary
Delivering high-quality, play-based programs for children aged 0-5 as part of a small team in Swansea; responsibilities include upholding child safety, providing age-appropriate learning experiences, actively supervising children, setting up engaging room environments, documenting and reflecting on children’s learning, and collaborating with families while adhering to NQF and regulatory requirements; requires ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, prior experience, strong communication, knowledge of NQF, and Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration; part-time role (15 hours/week) in Long Day Care offerings.
Required Qualifications
- An ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, with willingness to learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework
- A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services)
