Job Summary

Lead a team of office and class-based school support staff and liaise with the head teacher to ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of the school support service. Deliver a high-quality service within the learning community that supports pupils and staff while contributing to a positive school ethos. Manage office and classroom environments, utilizing supervisory and administrative skills alongside knowledge of ICT systems. Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm, for 33.75 hours per week during the 39-week term. Preferred candidates will assist the recruitment team with checks and must meet disclosure requirements for regulated roles with children.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience of a busy office / classroom environment is preferred.
  • supervisory and administrative skills and experience
  • knowledge of office ICT systems
  • Some experience of working with children in a school / care environment
  • The post holder is required to lead a team of office and class based school support staff
