Job Summary

Deliver the curriculum and support pupils with additional support needs across specialist provisions and mainstream bases in South Lanarkshire. Contribute to whole school initiatives and adhere to the duties outlined in the Teaching Profession framework. Work within supported classes and ASN bases to ensure high-quality learning for all learners. The role offers a 35-hour week at the Main grade Teacher scale (£43,383 - £54,453) with opportunities for funded post-graduate study. Candidates must be GTC registered and undergo a PVG Scheme check.

Required Qualifications

  • GTC Registration
  • Registration with GTC Scotland
  • General Teaching Council (Scotland) Registration
  • No bar from working with children and/or adults
  • PVG Scheme registration or PVG Scheme Update check
  • Overseas Criminal Records Check (if applicable)
  • Evidence of Overseas Criminal Records Check (if applicable)
  • Translation of Overseas Criminal Records Check into English (if applicable)
  • Official statement confirming no history of or pending criminal record proceedings (if applicable)
  • 35 hours per week availability
  • Location in South Lanarkshire ASN bases
  • Secondary area cover sectors
  • All localities
  • Full time or part time roles
