Job Summary
Head Coach for the New Hope-Solebury Middle School Field Hockey program responsible for leadership, organization, and development of the middle school girls program. Plan, organize, and supervise practices and games, coach student-athletes in fundamental field hockey skills, game tactics, and safety. Evaluate player performance, promote sportsmanship and academic well-being, ensure compliance with district policies and PIAA regulations, and collaborate with the High School Head Coach to ensure vertical alignment and smooth transitions for athletes moving to the high school program. Oversee match preparation, roster management, equipment maintenance, and effective communication with student-athletes, parents/guardians, administrators, and athletic staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of all required District, PIAA, and state-mandated clearances and coaching certifications.
- Prior coaching and/or competitive experience in Field Hockey at middle school or youth level preferred.
