Job Summary
Design and develop CNC Wire EDM and milling programs; set up, program, and operate EDM and Mill machines; read CAD drawings and blueprints with GD&T; utilize Mastercam and Esprit for programming; ensure Mastercam Mill Level 3 and Esprit are current and run at optimum performance; maintain CAD files and tooling/fixturing; perform quality checks to meet tight tolerances and finish specifications; manage workflow with fabrication leadership; provide tooling maintenance support and implement best-practice methods and cost-saving improvements; maintain organized file management for all programs and ensure machines run at peak efficiency; read part drawings and use CAM software to produce precise components.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 Year Machine Tool or Tool & Die Certificate preferred
- Minimum 5 years CNC experience preferably in a Tool & Die environment
- Minimum 2 years programming experience preferably with MasterCam and/or Esprit
- Read blueprints with GD&T
