Job Summary
The EDM Operator at Jabil will set up, operate, and maintain EDM equipment to produce high-precision mold components. Responsibilities include setting up Sinker EDM machines, interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings, performing electrode setup and burn operations, monitoring machine performance, conducting inspections with precision measuring tools, maintaining production records, and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Candidates need at least 2 years of EDM operating experience, preferably in mold manufacturing or precision machining, with requisite skills in detail orientation and independent work.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of EDM operating experience
- Experience in mold manufacturing or precision machining environment strongly preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
