Job Summary
Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment, setting up machines according to blueprints and specifications. Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances while performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery. Interpret technical drawings and G-code for EDM programming, inspect finished parts for defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize EDM processes. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of EDM operation experience, and proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and G-code programming.
Required Qualifications

- 1-3 years experience in EDM operation within a manufacturing environment
