Job Summary
Set up, program, and operate Fanuc-controlled EDM equipment (Wire and Sinker) to produce high-precision components. Review 3D models and blueprints in SolidWorks, perform minor geometry edits, inspect first-piece and in-process parts with micrometers/calipers/indicators/CMM, and monitor/adjust cutting parameters to meet strict tolerances. Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/software issues, perform routine EDM machine maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe workstation. Requires 3–5 years hands-on EDM setup/operation with Fanuc controls and GD&T interpretation; ability to work independently. Preferred experience in high-precision sectors such as Aerospace, Medical Device, or Tool & Die. Reports to the Machine Shop Supervisor.
