Job Summary
Program, set up, and operate Agie and/or Makino EDM machines while inspecting produced parts. Enter programs and necessary parameters into machine controls, then perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Read blueprints and schematics to guide operations, utilizing precision tools for quality inspection. Requires five years of experience with Wire EDM and general machining practices, including mill, lathe, and grinder knowledge. Fluency in English and strong troubleshooting skills are essential. Full-time, 40-hour week with flexible 1st and 2nd shift availability. Competitive hourly pay includes medical, 401k, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in operating Wire EDM machines
- Knowledge of machining processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to use precision tools, such as micrometers and gauges, for quality inspection
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts
Desired Qualifications
